A Seamless Stand Execution Experience for Moonline Travel & Trade at ITB Berlin 2026

Expo Display Studio GmbH was assigned the design and execution of the exhibition stand for Moonline Travel & Trade at the ITB Berlin 2026, one of the world’s leading travel and tourism exhibitions.

The project involved the execution of a 40 sqm booth, where the client required a professional, clean, and well-organised space suitable for meetings, presentations, and visitor interaction, while also maintaining a sleek, premium, and high-quality appearance.

Understanding the Requirement

The client had very clear expectations regarding design quality, finish, and overall presentation. Our objective was to create a stand that looked sleek yet grand, with high-end finishing, balanced lighting, and a layout that felt both aesthetic and practical.

The booth needed to include:

  • Clear branding visibility
  • Video display screens
  • Dedicated meeting area
  • Storage space
  • Custom furniture
  • Proper ambient and lighting

At the same time, the design had to comply with all technical regulations of the venue.

Designing & Planning The Stand As Per Client’s Vision

Expo Display Studio GmbH developed the stand layout carefully. We kept the space open, functional, and highly visible. It gave the opportunity to attract maximum visitors from the aisle.

Special focus was given to:

  • Curve where incorporated in walls & furniture.
  • Double Hanging structure with lighting & proper branding
  • Large video wall integration
  • Clean branding placement
  • Smooth visitor movement inside the booth

Every element, including technical drawings, material references, furniture selections, lighting plan, and colour finishes, was shared with the client for approval before production.

Challenge & Revision Before Show

  • This project came to us very close to the exhibition dates, and the client was extremely particular about quality and detailing.
  • Just 10 days before the show, the organiser informed us that the approved height for the booth and hanging structure could not be permitted as initially planned.
  • This required us to pause production, revise the design, update technical drawings, and re-release all files in a very short time frame.
  • Despite the time pressure, the entire layout, suspension, and structure were redesigned to ensure that the client would experience a flawless and hassle-free execution on site, which remained our main agenda throughout the project.

Technical Coordination

All required technical services were arranged in advance through the organiser, including:

  • Electricity connections
  • Rigging and suspension points
  • Cleaning services
  • Stand approval documentation

Updated drawings were issued after every revision to maintain accuracy during production. Rigging, lighting, graphic sizes, and suspension details were coordinated closely with both the client and organiser to avoid any delay during build-up & to maintain transparency with the client.

On-Site Execution

During the build-up at ITB Berlin, the focus was on precision installation and smooth coordination between different technical teams.

Final checks were completed before handover to ensure everything was working properly and the stand was fully ready before the client’s arrival.

Final Result & Clients' Feedback

Due to the Middle East conflict situation, the client arrived late to the show, which created additional concern regarding the final setup. However, continuous coordination between the project manager and client helped maintain trust throughout the process.

When the client arrived on the first day of the exhibition, the stand was fully ready.
They were highly satisfied with the result.

The booth attracted strong visitor attention during the show, and the client was able to start the exhibition smoothly without any delay.

Here’s what our client said in the feedback

“I found the team support at Expo Display Studio GmbH very impressive. The team was responsive, professional, and always ready to assist whenever we needed help. Their quick communication, problem-solving attitude, and willingness to support us throughout the process made the experience smooth and efficient. It truly felt like working with a reliable partner rather than just a service provider.”
